3 Characteristics of Every Dream Job & Why You Should Boycott Labor Day From Your Life Forever

70% of Americans hate their jobs. 

Their work seems like “TOIL.” They feel:

1. TRAPPED. 
2. ENSLAVED.
3. DISSATISFIED.

I call these people the Day Jobbers™.

Their work doesn’t seem like “TOIL.” They experience:

1. FREEDOM – They go as you please
2. FINANCES – They earn as you wish
3. FULFILLMENT – They you live as you like

I call these people the Dream Jobbers™.

Boycott Labor Day From Your Life Forever

In America on the first Monday in September we celebrate something called Labor Day. (Thank you 1894 Congress) I get the point, I just disagree with the premise. Work shouldn’t feel like labor. This separates Day Jobbers from Dream Jobbers. (Tweet This).

A quick Latin lesson will explain why. There are 2 words for work:

1. Labōr: toil, work
2. OPUS: masterpiece, work

When you’re “working” if you’d rather be somewhere else, that’s a key indicator you’re toiling. (Tweet This) Some of us have been toiling for years. We don’t know what’s it like not to toil. But if you’re “working” and it feels like playing then you might just be living your OPUS.

I went from Day Job to Dream Job
